National Consecration of the United States to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
This June, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) invites us to Consecrate the country to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. There is much you can do to prepare your heart and celebrate this consecration.
Throughout the month of June, we will replace the Divine Praises with the Litany of the Sacred Heart during Adoration (Tuesdays 9:30 am-8 pm).
The Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus is prayed June 3 –June 11 and draws its daily devotions from the Litany of the Sacred Heart. Each day reflects on the wisdom of saints and pontiffs on the Sacred Heart and offers opportunities for prayer and action, framed by Pope Francis’ encyclical Dilexit Nos (He Loved Us) and Pope Leo XIV’ s apostolic exhortation Dilexi Te (I Have Loved You).
We will celebrate the Consecration Mass on Friday, June 12 AT ST MATTHEWS CHURCH, VOORHEESVILLE, NY at 8:30 am and Fr. Rick invites all to attend! The novena concludes with the consecration of the United States to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
The Novena and other materials are available above as well as hard copies in the gathering space.
